2. juuni 2020 / Starting today, 1 June, Tartu Smart Bike Share users will be able to purchase a one-hour ticket to ride a bicycle. In addition, the Tartu Smart Bike Share homepage has been updated, now being more mobile friendly and detailed.

The price of a one-hour ticket is EUR 2, which is equivalent to the cost of a ticket purchased from the bus driver aboard an urban bus. The ticket will be valid from the moment of purchase and bicycles will be available for rental for a period of one hour. If the bike ride lasts for more than 60 minutes, then a charge of EUR 1 for each additional hour will be added, similar to the currently valid price list. One bicycle can be kept for a period of up to 5 hours, after which a late fee of EUR 80 will apply. In addition to the one-hour ticket a one-day ticket can be purchased for EUR 5, a one-week ticket for EUR 10, and a one-year ticket for EUR 30.

With the creation of the new ticket the terms and conditions for using Tartu Smart Bike Share were updated, to which an explanation for purchasing the one-hour ticket and procedure for disputing contractual penalties were added. The new terms and conditions for use can be found on the Tartu Smart Bike Share homepage ratas.tartu.ee.

In addition to the entry into force of the one-hour ticket, starting today, the Tartu Smart Bike Share homepage also has a new look. Updates include a more modern and beautiful design, faster operation on mobile phones and more in-depth support for frequently asked questions.
