AS TRANSFER

Alliance for smart specialisation in advanced services towards the digital transformation of the industry

The level of digitalization of Estonian industry is below the EU average (until 2021). Companies are increasingly striving to achieve the goals of Industry 4.0, which in turn necessitates knowledge-based professionals. The aim of the project is to create training programs in vocational and higher education institutions that meet the needs of the automated industry, to raise the level of services & activities that support the digitization of companies and bring them in line with Industry 4.0 objectives.

Project activities
  1. To identify the needs of the manufacturing industry regarding Industry 4.0 concept.
  2. To carry out different interdisciplinary training programs for students, entrepreneurs and professionals so they can acquire the necessary skills to answer to the industry demands.
  3. To build a collaborative working methodology to match the education and expertise needs from the industry with the offers of the service providers (individually or in cooperation).
  4. To create more specialized jobs in Tartu.

RELOS 3 - From Regional to Local: Successful deployment of the Smart Specialization Strategies

Projekti kestus: 2017–2021
Projekti eelarve:
1 413 237 eurot (sh Tartu Linnavalitsuse eelarve 140 442 eurot)

Projekti peamiseks eesmärgiks on leida erinevatest Euroopa regioonidest edulugusid targa spetsialiseerumise strateegiate rakendamise kohta, et saadud kogemusi kasutada partnerregioonide majanduse arendamiseks. Lisaks on eesmärgiks tähtsustada kohaliku tasandi rolli EL-i struktuurivahendite kasutamisel piirkondade arendamiseks.

Projekti tegevused

1. Parimate praktikate leidmine partnerregioonidest ja mujalt Euroopast targa spetsialiseerumise strateegiate rakendamise kohta.
2. Kogemuste vahetamine ja võimaluste leidmine strateegiate rakendamise parendamiseks.
3. Info jagamine huvigruppidega.
4. Tegevusplaani koostamine.
5. Tegevusplaani rakendamise seire.

InnoCAPE - Industry 4: transforming innovation ecosystem through better capacity of public enablers

Projekti eelarve: 2 501 050 eurot (sh Tartu Linnavalitsuse eelarve 48 675 eurot)

Projekti sisuks on regionaalse koostöö arendamine info- ja kommunikatsioonitehnoloogia (IKT) valdkonnas, et paremini rakendada digitaalse ühtse turu (Digital Single Market) pakutavaid võimalusi.

Peamisteks eesmärkideks on tihendada koostööd IKT valdkonna osapoolte vahel Eestis ja välismaal ning tuua Tartu linn digitaalsete innovatsioonikeskuste (Digital Innovation Hubs) kaardile.

Projekti tegevused
  1. Avaliku sektori ja digitaalsete innovatsioonikeskuste kompetentside arendamine.
  2. Asjakohaste juhtumiuuringute tegemine seoses digitaalsete innovatsioonikeskuste loomise ja tegevusega.
  3. Kogemuste vahetamine ja info jagamine huvigruppidega.

FOSO POCO

Fostering Social Entrepreneurship Ecosystems Post-Covid19

Programme: co-funded by the European Innovation Council and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Executive Agency (EISMEA) under the COSME programme.

114 902 EUR (including the budget for Tartu City Government: 34 940 EUR)

The aim of the project is to better understand and support entrepreneurs engaged in social entrepreneurship and to develop proposals and processes to support this type of entrepreneurship.

Project activities
  1. Create better understanding of social entrepreneurship in the country, identify and involve  the relevant stakeholders and use best practices and expert involvement to address existing gaps in the ecosystems.
  2. Establishing a framework to assist social enterprises in a post-Covid economy which results in furthering the economic development and creating jobs.
  3. Assisting promising social enterprises / startups to pilot, pitch and internationalize their product or services through the networks of the project partners.
