Business Guide

Estonia can offer a progressive business environment with an efficient and compatible infrastructure. Our e-services, mobile communications and internet applications are among the most advanced in the world. Estonians are adaptable to new technologies and use them willingly. Some of our accomplishments in e-services can be found here: e-estonia.com

Estonia has also launched the e-Residency initiative, a state-issued secure digital identity for non-residents that allows digital authentication and digital signing of documents: Estonian e-residency. More information about e-Residency can be found here: https://e-resident.gov.ee/

Starting a Company

In order to start a company in Estonia, you need to either visit a notary (List of Notaries in Estonia) or visit the Company Registration Portal (an online environment which allows users to submit documents to the Business Register electronically). The Company Registration Portal allows submitting applications for registering a new company, amending registry data, liquidating a company and deleting a company from the registry. You can also prepare and submit annual reports via the portal.
