The City of Good Thoughts Has a New Image
15 September / The new corporate visual identity (CVI) of Tartu was unveiled today. The new CVI gives the city a unified image, supports Tartu's activities with well-thought-out designs in the future, and helps to communicate on different topics and via different channels with all the residents as well as visitors of Tartu.
The new identity system reflects the essence of Tartu as it is pioneering, calm and intelligent, and tells the story of a city designed for people and of a city that is forward-looking. It consists of colours, font, photos, illustrations, layout principles and a logo that are characteristic of Tartu. Tartu still has the slogan "The City of Good Thoughts", but it is not intertwined with the logo.
By the end of September, the new visual identity will be exhibited in the online guide cvi.tartu.ee. Tartu City Government will gradually change the various designs according to the needs and importance of a particular medium or topic.
